The National Academy of Sciences announced the election of 120 members and 24 international members in recognition of their distinguished and continuing achievements in original research.
Among the 2024 newly elected members are Dr. Lynne Talley of The Changelings and Comer Fellow Dr. Jay Quade. Lynne Talley is a distinguished professor at Scripps Institution of Oceanography, University of California, San Diego. Jay Quade is a full professor, Department of Geosciences, University of Arizona, Tucson.
