Rekindling a tradition

Since 2004, we’ve hosted the annual Comer Climate Conference, an opportunity for Comer Fellows and guests to convene for presentations, collaboration, and discussion. We were thrilled to reconnect for the first in-person conference since 2019. Scientists shared findings from field work ranging from Greenland to Antarctica, across the U.S. and around the globe. They were joined by environmental journalism students from Medill School of Journalism at Northwestern University, artists who use visual storytelling to expand scientific understanding. Teens Take On Climate also Zoomed in from Chicago's South Side.
